I think the Di is great, saves having to tote (remember) a DI box for sure. I was running a g-major through my effects loop for a while, played real nice with that. The front seem to like an O.D and delay pedal just fine.

Maybe this was pointed out already and I missed it, the M6 and M9 are no longer on Mesa's site, did they get the axe? Mesa Boogie Bass Power Amplifiers Nevermind, I used the "picture menus" and they are both listed. The drop down "product finder" menu near the top left must be out of date.

I think it would be more costly to chance a mod on your amp........

Why not just get some type of switching system from rmj or rocktron? I think they both make a once space rack switcher (or smaller) and I bet you could get your pedals in the rack as well....well maybe not, might be worth looking into though?

I only notice hiss if I'm sitting next to my rig.I don't hear any once I get playing distance away (more than 5 or 6 feet in my case), but I should mention my cabs do not have horns/tweeters. When I'm "miked up" the hiss does not come through. I wonder if some some companies utilize a filter to...

Sweet setup indeed, I love the backlight logo.....I'm sure it adds at least 50 watts of "coolness power"?

#2 When I had my 400s I ran it this exact way with two PAS 2x10's. I didn't have a problem keeping up with a 100 watt marshall half stack. Not that we played at max volume but it was loud.

You know I thought the same thing, glad I'm not the only one who thinks that the M9 is quieter than before. I was told a few components were going to be changed to accommodate the second fan so maybe that has something to do with it......or maybe it's some odd coincidental noise canceling...

The M9 Arrived today (23 December), very fast turn around, it arrived at Boogie Hollywood Friday (17 December). I should point out that my amp didn't overheat or blow or whatever some have done. No problems at all, just a preventive move on my part. What I notice right off is lid venting and...
