i had the 1000, and at least that had casters built in. eventually i swapped it out for a single 15 and 2x10 cab so i could at least get it up the stairs by myself. but man, that 1000 did sound clean. fyi, the new 1000's are now called the 1200 - and rated the same.

hey all, i was wondering if anyone out here could help me out. i've got an old 400+ and can't recall what year i bought it. i think it was around 1988 or so. the serial number is B2899. anyone know how i can found out the year it was made? thanks

not mine, but had to post pic. saw it at the '08 namm show. custom shop one of a kind. love the vintaged white paint and pearl block on maple. almost melted my iphone with drool. (yeah, i know, it's active, but hey....)

saw all the above within the last year, except for jackson. paisley's bassist had no visible amp onstage (same with a house 'o blues live concert on TV i saw). don't know what kind of DI he uses. jerry flowers with urban and the flatt's bassist were both running multiple SVT's.

for those like me who weren't sure if they got aero's or lakland pickups in their bass, i emailed lakland tech support and got this response... "Check out the lead wires from the pickup. The Aero's have black and white vinyl covered wires. The Lakland's have black, red and green wires."
