Saw that thread.......and the YouTube clip.... But its sometimes difficult to pick out the subtle differences in tomes sometimes. That was my other question with all the 'revisions'......i've heard Rev07 is recent? not sure how quick things flow down under (Australia)

I will be heading down to my bass store to try this head tomorrow, but wanted to get some other opinions on it. I've been looking at getting a different tone from my rig. My past rig was a MarkBass LM2 through a 4x10 front ported MarkBass cab. Swapped out the LM2 for a Shuttle 6.0...

Pickup not being placed in the MM sweetspot is also important. I just assumed it was placed in the same position

Pre-amp colours the tone a lot in the MM IMO

Apparently if you are painting over, you can simply paint over the finish........ Paint chip, if you wish to fix it, I have no idea, but you could simply just paint over it

Hey guys, Some might have seen my thread on trying to strip the finish on a Squier VM 70's Jazz. I was originally going to make it a natural finish, but due to the fact I had to use a heat gun and a scrapper to remove the finish, this led to the odd dent and discoloration from the heat gun...

Thanks guys. Squier website says its a Polyurethane Finish

Thanks for the help guys, but i'm having a bit of trouble. I've used Citristrip before, and have put a coat on this bass but after almost 48 hours and reapplication, it seems to be having no effect on the clear coat. Any suggestions? Try a different stripper?

Any luck fixing the volume drop?

I've had all of em.... Stingray, Sterling, P-Basses and J-Basses. Stingray stays, Sterling went cause the Stingray was there first, P-Bass was good but went too. Jazz will probably be staying too...but as somebody posted earlier, don't discount the G&L L-2000......Tribute is an amazing beast...
