My son (11yo) told me he wanted to get a guitar so we could make a band together, and Mommy could play piano and his other brother would play drums. Kinda made me feel cool to hear that from him. So I got him a guitar....

Playing for a small bar crowd with a singer who lines his "empties" on the front of the stage and every once in a while will punt them into the crowd. so I decide to get in on the action cuz the crowd seemed to be into it, so I haul off and give a field goal kick on a full beer (didn't know it...

your a tool.... the title was "looks", part of doing a show is enjoying what you do as well as the music. Ryan Martinie was having a friggin great time doing that. Don't be so narrow minded.:rolleyes:

Before any gig, finish setup & tune up. Chug a beer and go out to the car and put in your favorite mp3 and friggin rock your a$$ off! Totally motivate yourself to give the best performance you can. Cuz everybody knows you carry the band....

Anybody got a recommendation for a decent set of noise cancelling bass headphones to practice with. It seems when I want to "get away from it all" I still get all the disruptions and cant get in the zone. I'm talking really good "in my own world" headphones....:hmm:

I started playing Drums and was influenced by Neil Peart, and when I started playin Bass it was like... this is the greatest band ever! Geddy has soul man.
