used a Bassman 215 cab loaded with EVM 15's for many years. Finally decided it was too much to lug and bought a GK 115 cab. Guess what? Now I run the 215 AND the 115 biamped. Like a previous poster said......gotta feel your pant legs rustling from the air movement.

if you can find a Roland SIP-301 on EBay........a) it will be cheap.......maybe $75? and b) sounds pretty darn good and is indestructible. Plus, it has a built-in crossover for biamping and a compressor.

I haven't read the whole thread but if you want to improve your sight reading, I suggest Simandl Double Bass Etudes. They start off fairly easy and progress to ridiculous. It will also give you some cool ideas for your next solo.....

like SlyJoe says.............it's the current, not the voltage. We were told in engineering class (waaaaaay back when...) that, under the right conditions, a current as little as 50mA can kill you.
