For sale is a custom hand carved double bass tailpiece made from black walnut, with a matching walnut fret. The tailpiece is 356mm long, and weighs 98 grams. Hand finished with French polish and then clear varnish. Radius made for a standard double bass bridge.

Nothing will substitute a good teacher, though many things may try. I would suggest trying to get in touch with some teachers who have skills in terms of teaching bow technique.
