    WOw, good to know. Might need to price up what a warmoth body will cost. I have also been considering just getting a cheap P bass and doing the routing myself with a template. Wish there was a pickguard for the bridge pickup in case I make any mistakes. ;P

    Is the line out on the SVP noisy compared to the main outs? Thats my largest concren.... @Bassgod: How would you describe the differences in distortion between the Pro and the Cl? Definitly going with the rpm, thanks for the heads up! :D

    I definitly prefer a "grindier" sound (Doing mostly rock/metal). Interesting, how does the gain on both compare? I dont need a huge amount of gain, just enough to get some mix splitting crunch going on. :bassist:

    I got a typical craptastic (guitar) kit on ebay. The fingerboard has some rougher patchesdown the middle that discolors it and creates unevenness My best option i to just be really patient and sand it down, right?
