Scott Devine wears a glove on his left hand because it helps with a medical issue. Etienne M'Bappé wears gloves to keep his strings bright. Obviously they can keep the hands warm which would be another reason to use them.

Hi there, I've been pretty much GAS-free for the last 6 months so I have no idea what brand new shiny toys came out recently. Is there anything released in 2015 that particularly caught your attention? Are you excited for something soon-to-be-released?

The Tech21 Bass Boost Chorus gets lots of praise around here, never tried it myself though. I have a Source Audio Orbital Modulator and am very happy with it, lots of parameters to play with. I'm sure you could get the sound you want out of it but you would have to spend some time with the pedal.

The octaver I use, when playing a low E for example, tries to produce the note but fails. You hear a glitchy growl pop in and out, like it doesn't really know what to do. I can't explain it much better.

I used to have it at the front and moved it to the end to use it as a DI. TBH didn't notice a difference in tone, although I had to tweak my other pedals because of the lower input volume.

Tu peux avoir des graves clean si tu ne montes pas trop le gain à gauche. Après il suffit de jouer avec le potard de mix entre les deux bandes pour que les aigus/médiums ne noient pas les graves. C'est pas non plus une solution miracle, l'intérêt de cette pédale c'est d'être une disto analogique...
