    Looks like Michael Anthony is no longer on the Yamaha site or at least his sig. bass isn't. I would venture to guess he may have something brewing with Schecter in the near future. If so I would LOVE to see him as an endorsed artist with the company. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part...

    Fender Flats VS EB Cobalt Flats

    I'd go with Fender flats. They are the only flat strings I've felt completely comfortable with. I have them on my Gretsch 5440LS and the sound is very old-school vintage with a hint of upright tone. Those EB strings sound a tad brighter to me so I guess it's just personal preference on the way...
