I had only one petal around 1980. "Bassballs" is what I think it was called. Pretty cool from what I remember. I'm sure the more active members may have some better insight.

My first bass was a Kay. Learned to love playing. Went to a T40 peavey from there to a p-bass(wish I still had both.) Mine played well and got me hooked. Your call on the return. Too much, yeah. Do you like it? Call it a donation to those less fortunate and play the finish off of it. Just MHO.

Since I got the reply and I just have a tablet Google "was Bon Scott AC/DC's driver" and watch the video of Bon talking about it on YouTube. Less than a minute.

Must be fairly recent as he has a few "road miles" on him as well and his voice has some maturity to it. The other video I think only has the Young brothers in it as that isn't Phil Rudd or Mark Evans, I believe. I guess the Youngs were the band. But who else can play the bagpipes and sing about...

In Rochester NY from about 1977 until 82, 83 I saw at least 25 shows($10.00 or there about) from VH, Genesis, Rush, ZZ Top just to name a few(that I remember ;-) without the drama of today. Bic lighters by the thousands and a sweet smell in the air. No fights, yelling and the likes. Just pizza...

I also think I read that Bon was their driver before becoming their singer.

I saw them as an opening act for I believe BOC with I think Thin Lizzy in 1979. Had never heard them before. They kicked the crap out of the other bands and I bought HIghway to Hell and High Voltage and wore the groves out of those records. Our band did low budget covers of them but getting...
