No. I play a Fender because they cannot be killed. Durability is a BIG deal:) My Fender is a workhorse, which is the primary thing I ask for from my basses.

Are you sure? The back says manufactured in Vietnam, 2006. I had indeed thought that they switched over in March of 07 though.

I don't believe in karma with most things, but something tells me that if you keep it, BOTH of the PF500's will eventually explode. In the middle of a gig. And you won't have a backup. Also you'll get AIDS. At the very very least, I'd put money that both of them have that butt-stupid cutting...

So, I'm a bad thread-digger: my PF500 is a cutter. Never noticed it with my 8-ohm 115, but I switched to a 4-ohm cab, and sure enough, at high volumes it does cut out. Now, admittedly, the volumes at which it does this are pretty much what I'd consider more than I'd need (gain at noon...
