    Vintage Fenders. Why??

It’s the whole package….great old wood, gunk in the electronics, pickups, mojo and history. Not for everyone, but “that sound” is tough to replicate.

For Sale Dingwall AB Neck (Wenge; Ziricote Fingerboard)

On the advice of my fellow TBr's, I'm going to take down this listing for a while. It will be back up if my body doesn't show up in a while. I hold out hope that it will, thanks to your notes. Best - Jason

Pre CBS '63' P Bass Help

Price seems out of line for a refinished "P" with a re-fret. For that price, you should be able to find an early 60's P with an original finish (even if beat up a bit; and probably a sunburst) in my experience. Just have to keep looking. That's half the fun. If you're looking to verify vintage...

    Sheldon Dingwall is a Genius!

Not a knock on other manufacturers (there are tons of good ones) but utmost respect to Mr. Dingwall. I recently acquired my first Dingwall 5 string (an Afterburner I, Alder body; Wenge neck). After years of playing standard 34" scale basses I was nervous about the fanned frets. I was also...

Lack of P basses with 1.5 " nut

+1 for Warmoth. My first build was a P with J neck. It plays and sounds great. Wasn't too tough to put together. PM me if you'd like to learn more about specs, etc.

First recorded song you ever remember hearing…

I gotta say Starbuck's "Moonlight Feels Right." I still feel like a little kid when I hear it.

NBD! 1982 Fullerton AVRI '62 Precision

I used to own an Olympic White '83 Fullerton. It was painted over sunburst, just like in the day. I bet you've got a nice surprise waiting for you as the bass gets used!
