The Washburn J-6 Montgomery was a Wes Montgomery signature model....the guy in the picture to the left is not an alien and that is not a flying saucer.

Can't tell from your photo.....is there a step in the seam? Looks like the left side of the seam was a little high and caught some black overspray.

Would like to mention that I played professionally (guitar and bass) for a long....long time. I'm still actively involved ( in other ways )...and play only for enjoyment. I have an affection for Washburn instruments as can be seen in an article from many years ago: Washburn's Guardian Angel...
