Yep, I've still got my other basses but I've gone almost exclusively to the U5 for gigging. I just can't think of a reason not to.

I've gone short scale, period. I've got a 35 year old Warmoth P-Bass that is literally perfect. I'm gonna keep it because I am basically loyal to inanimate objects. I wonder if there is a Sire custom shop, or if I could convince them to build me a U5 5 string. I played someone's short scale 5...
