    New 0xEAE Bass Driver

This is something that comes up periodically, but the jacks loosen pretty quickly over time. If memory serves, we left the original Bass control more or less at max. But there are lots of other factors at play, especially with a fixed version of the TS50B boost circuit which also cuts lows.

    New 0xEAE Bass Driver

Hey folks! Been a while since I dusted off this account. Very grateful for the interest in the Greathammer and thoughtful comments thus far. I think everything we make has utility on bass, but I'm also glad we got to make something bass-specific. If you want to learn about what we kept and did...

Dude, this sounds awesome! Thank you! Sorry about that. Thanks for trying though, I do greatly appreciate it and the demand motivates us to make more! Quantities are limited - this batch of Longswords and Model feTs sold out in a little 20 minutes. I provide a specific time in email blasts in...

    NPD: Electronic Audio Experiments Longsword

Hey Guys! Haven't had a chance to pop in here in a while but I appreciate the buzz about the Longsword V3 release... took us around 6 months of fine tuning to get it where we wanted but the results are well worth it. Mailing list subscribers already know but they launch Friday. I expect them to...

    Electronic Audio Experiments Model feT

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it. We had a hell of a time getting these out, thanks to over 20% of boards not meeting QC standards and then having to expedite new ones. But the positive feedback makes it all worth it.

    NPD Model EAE feT

Good question. We're making more but trying not to rush it. We're getting out of a huge backlog and trying not to overburden ourselves with new orders.

    Electronic Audio Experiments Model feT

We're building a TON of them right now. This preorder batch was our biggest yet. If it's been longer than 8 weeks since you ordered drop us a line via email.

Yup! But now it's hitting the front end of the pedal instead of swapping in a new pot.

Yup, now you get the extra headroom automatically. The Boost is like a second channel with more gain and a different, slightly tighter EQ and feel.

Got an update to the Longsword coming... Got the same graphics refresh as everything else in the line, as well as some updates under the hood. Stay tuned?

Pedal Breeders' BIG Board Club Part III

The Longsword is like a D+, in the way that a Ferrari is like a Ford Model T :) (Sorry for the late response on this!)

The internal drive trimmer is the same as the external pot. The 1/2 footswitch just goes between them. In other words, it's like a preset for how much gain you want. When we ship them out it's at max so you can always activate a heavy distortion/fuzz sound. I prefer lower gain settings for bass...

    NPD: Electronic Audio Experiments Longsword

Glad you're still digging it - 18V really is a big improvement! There isn't a noise gate or any sort of gated circuitry in the pedal, so whatever you are hearing likely has to do with some of the weirder artifacts that come from running a hard-clipping op amp distortion at higher gain. I've...

Thanks for the kind words Matt. If you have any questions I'm happy to answer! One thing to note - the internal gain trimmer is a second Drive pot. You can think of it as a preset gain level activated by the left footswitch. Max gain can definitely be pretty overwhelming on bass!
