    Cleanest current mesa amp

All of my amps, except V4B, which I rarely use, have conditioned me over 30 years to believe I like a clean sound. I bought a TT a few months ago and it is opening up a world of dirt and grind I haven't appreciated as much as I should've. The TT may not be for you. I just sent 8 tracks to a...

I just picked up a 405. Do it, you'll love the tone! Buy another if it goes down on you; that's short money for an iconic, beautiful sounding piece of gear.

Gigging thoughts after 30 years playing live

I'm around 30 years too. My goal for this year is to play every gig with the same 212 cab and one of my two favorite amps. Focus on musicianship solely.

"You need to learn how to play 30 milliseconds early."

I always try to play a bit BEHIND, as my favorite bassists and drummers do.

Help- Should I buy a Stingray? if so, what kind?

I cannot recommend an EBMM Sterling more highly. They are phenomenal players with 3-band EQ and a 3-position pickup switch. All the tones are there and it plays like a dream.

    Frequency range on cabs

Every musical note is predominantly its fundamental. The upper harmonics (octave, 12th, 15th, etc.) color the fundamental and give it the unique characteristics of that instrument. If the octave were more predominant, the pitch would be noted differently on the scale. With that said, it is...
