That's the thing though. I have either $800, or $1400. Nothing in between because of Reasons™. I've been playing American P and J basses around town for a month or so, but none play as nice as the 2004 Squire P/J Bass that got stolen from me. Are the current Squires up to 04 caliber? No idea...

I have the same bass, except I bought mine for $10 from some dumb kid. It's a Link Removed, which is kind of hilarious if you really think about it. I like mine a lot. It plays great and sounds like an amplified tin can blasting out of Satan's butthole. You can see where the logo was sanded...
