I don't expect to play a double bass anywhere but home. So, in that sense it's a useless indulgence. But a man needs a hobby :) to stay sane in an otherwise insane world.

I have been remarkably restrained for a few years. My last bass purchase was 2023 and my last amp purchase was 2021 (I think). I'm not complaining - I have 10 basses and 3 amp rigs. I'm currently building a new house and Mrs Jughead6 has agreed I can buy my first double bass once we move in...
