Probably a dumb question, but how would you tell between a USA made one and a Korean one? I've seen some pics of headstocks bearing "manufactured in the USA" and others with "Fury" in italics written on them.

I think what Ron G means is 124 is more comfortable to his left hand. I don't have big hands and while on guitar I have no problems whatsoever, on Bass 124 up to the 5th fret seems more right to me. No stress on the left hand at all.

Thanks for all the quick replies. We do a bunch of drums+bass moments, and lots of "Open-E-Heavy-as-Hell" moments where having that high E (only available at the 21st fret - I do some harmonic work, but it's an entirely different sound) is a must :) I was thinking about a P/J configuration...
