Squire Vintage Modified Jag SS - knob specs?

Good day, all - Happy Friday! I am interested in switching out the volume/tone knobs on my 2016 Squire short scale Jag, but want to make sure I order the correct fitment for it. I tried to pull up on them to check the threading, but they seemed locked in - though I wasn't able to see any kind...

    Fender Rumble LT25, Studio 40 & Stage 800

That looks SO odd! I'd love to know what that was caused by, or even how it was supposed to look if there wasn't an issue. I've never seen a circuitboard with that kind of a fault before. -Kev

mrcBass w/B-Side Band @The Grounds, Roseville CA 7/4

As a simple shlub that just putters around in the basement trying to learn, that read as an absolute Rock Saga! The feeling of that would be incredible, so I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it as much as you did! Maybe (though likely not) I'll have a chance to play onstage someday, as it sounds like...

    Fender Rumble Club

Good day all! Here's a question that I wanted to ask this group; I am a "serial modder", that is, I seem to end up tweaking almost all my gear at some point or another. I recently purchased a Rumble Stage 800, and wanted to try to swap out the standard Fender handle with a more "retro" looking...

    JACK CASADY BASS PLAYERS CLUB!

Nah - I like your direction of all the black hardware; sounds like a great way to go. Honestly, I think the OEM tuners seemed fine, so you should be all good!

    JACK CASADY BASS PLAYERS CLUB!

Hey Bud - a few of the same things you did pretty much; I did the moving of the top strap mount to the upper horn (one of the best things for sure), painted my pick-up black as and put in the Hippoopie bridge instead of the 3-point one. I did replace the tuners with Grovers, but that was a vanity...

Wow! And I thought I had modded MY JCB! That’s a sh*t ton of work you’ve done there. It all sounds quite nice and I for one am very excited to see how it all comes out! -Kev

    Fender Rumble LT25, Studio 40 & Stage 800

I completely get it, Nordi! Like anything we purchase, if we’ve had a less than stellar experience with it, it’s hard to justify doing it again. I have to believe that it was just a one-off deal before, and you’d likely not have any issues this time around. But even if you did, depending on...

    Fender Rumble LT25, Studio 40 & Stage 800

Hey there, Nordy! (Funny; I am currently reading through this whole string to refresh my memory about different features, tips, etc. and have seen that you were experiencing a lot of connectivity issues.) I originally had a Studio 40, and never experienced any issues - well, certainly no more...

Hey TriumphRider; I know there is a great step-by-step posting a/pics online someplace, but I don’t have it bookmarked at the moment. Google search Jack Casady strap button upper horn and see if you find it. I’ll see if I can find the thread I used and I’ll put the link in if I find it. -Kev

    JACK CASADY BASS PLAYERS CLUB!

Much like jglunt, I did the strap button mod using the epoxy method; it was a pretty easy/straightforward deal. In my case, I did it to remedy the bass falling away from my body more than the neck dive. It has been a great modification for me and I'm glad I did it. Enjoy yours however you play...
