    Spector Club - Part 17

I hope our bass playing family on the east coast is ok, such a massive storm for this early. I hope Woodstock is ok as well. My new NS-2 is supposed to ship this next week after a highly anticipated wait! :D

I would just like to add, I have downloaded 6 of Todd's lessons and the third walking bass module. Todd has really done a great job integrating visual and audio presentation and breaking down the lessons in easy to digest bits. All for $1.99 a lesson too! You cannot beat this at all. I...

    F/S STAMBAUGH SINGLECUT 5 NAMM 2010 BASS

I played this bass at NAMM. It played as beautiful as it looks, single coils are just not my thing though. Otherwise it would have come home with me. I spent quite a bit of time with Chris and he did not mention that he sold this piece. It is a great bass, good luck selling. Why selling...

    1980's High "Endy" basses ???

I actually own none of these in Indy! I still have my first bass a custom Warlock form the early 80's, never gets played though, just sentimental. Also have the standby Guild Pilot and custom Jackson from the 80's too. Main basses today are USA Spectors, Ernie Ball and Stambaugh with other...

Spector Club Pt. 3 (Insert Clever Title Here)

    Great refinish. That looks awesome!

Spector Club Pt. 3 (Insert Clever Title Here)

Yes, it is from 2009 NAMM, good memory!

Spector Club Pt. 3 (Insert Clever Title Here)

It is not officially called Peacock. Stuart calls it blue over black. In person it has a more green hue to it, almost a turquoise quality.

Spector Club Pt. 3 (Insert Clever Title Here)

OK, I will play. This is the most recent NS5XL I have. I have to admit, I love the Hazlab in my other Spectors, but this beast sounds amazing.

Weirdest name of a band you've ACTUALLY BEEN IN

Still get together with these guys from time to time for reunions. Gladiator Platypus I loved that name and our mascot!

Which onboard pre-amp for Spector/Kramer NS-2 with EMGs?

That bass, as long as it is a true NS-2 and not an NS-2a, should already have the Hazlab pre in it unless it has been replaced. I own 3 Kramer era Spectors and that pre is one of the reasons I love them so much. If it is not the original, then yes, I would talk to Spector about a Hazlab.

    Satin Finished Necks...better or cheaper?

+1 for satin, Gloss reminds me of an old Peavey T40 bass I had in the day that my hand constantly stuck on the neck when I started sweating.

Whats Your Opinion on MusicMan Basses

Absolute best basses for the buck made in my opinion. I have quite a few of them and they have become an integral part of my sound.

TJ @ Jim Stinnett's NEW HAMPSHIRE BASS FEST JUNE 25-28

Hi Freddels, I will assume you mean 2009 for the Bass Fest since 2008's has passed. I do not think that Jim has final dates yet although I could be wrong, perhaps Todd knows. I can find out though and post them if they are set. Cheers! Kurt
