If anyone is near GC in Hallendale, FL or if anyone wants to contact the store, you'd better jump on this if it's in good condition. It's a used SSD for $279!!!

Damn...I wish I could get a hold of that!

I tried to buy that one this past May, and have it shipped to Minneapolis. The store manager pretty much ignored me after he quoted a price. If anyone pursues it, I wish you better luck than I had. :hmm:

Wow, that came out great!!! I must admit that I had my doubts upon seeing your photoshop but it really looks amazing. Nice job on a totally original idea!

i have some problems with the pickupfit, i need to rasp (or dremel) it carefully.
damn, why is spector so exact with all the milling.

My tech had the same problem. He just barely got the pickups and bridge in there.

I know I have posted most of these before but I have received a few more since the last post. Sorry not positive on how to post the pics the right way so this is all I can do.

Just noticed that after I posted. But they're the WRONG way! :p
Those are the only (3) 5 string EMG HZ P pick ups around. Well at the time the basses were built
Hey! He's right. They are the wrong way.
You know these are Spectors, right!?!
What the hell were you thinking?!?
Next, you're going to tell me these aren't "vintage correct" and the bottom bobbin is covering the A string!!!
:hiding::hiding::p;)

thx for all your positive replies.

i already thought about black hardware (maybe a black bridge with some golden saddles?)
since i have an other spector with black hardware, i'm going to try that very soon.

but the best thing is, that the sound is still the same. its the most open and alive sounding bass i have ever played. i wish my other spector would go more in this direction. but it sounds a little more dull. maybe its because it weights more or it has only some EMG HZ pu in it.
