Finally I got knobs for my HB P-20 SBK. Here's some pictures (not great quality, sorry). Swapped pickups with EMG PAX and strings with DR Black Beauties.

Bought one three weeks ago, swapped the pickup with EMG PAX (installation was a breeze, and there is enough space to fit the battery), changed the pickguard with a black one, mount DR Black Beauties. And it sounds killer.

Did you check the Harley Benton Basses? I recently bought a Precision PB-20 and I have to say that is an excellent instrument, imho better than Squier Affinity and, in my opinion also than VM
