But it was something I thought about at one time.

Welp, here's the story on my bands logo...ours is basically a Yin Yang, but I found a Yin Yang that is the variant of the one eveyone knows of...
The one eveyone knows of the other yin yang with the dots....Harmony and balance...The one above has the same meaning, but in "motion" rather than in meditiation, or "still".
And since the "leader" (and I use the term loosly) can't even get his act together for shows and recording (Too long of a story to even say why I'm on the verge of leaving and taking the lead guitarist and drummer with me) can't understand that concept, and him trying to be "ethereal", and "wordly" I simply added text of the band... I've created a ton of other designs that could possible get us a cease and desist letters (especially the last one) based on the fact I think it looks like a wave or a donut!

Very cool. The logo with just the type, was that hand-lettered? Very nice. It has a really old feel to it.
It was created in a graphic design program, but it is not a font that existed, it is a custom creation.

I’m surprised you haven’t gotten a cease and desist order on the bottom one. Pretty blatant plagiarism.
Yeah, our BL pulled the plug on that logo a while back, saying the same thing.....but we do play to the Surf, Skate crowd, so I think that's how that logo came about
But yes, we stopped using it a while back
