They were a small local company who have been established for decades in the local area, actively servicing and producing high quality small scale hifi products. These are not factory produced brand, but small very tight knit company, everything hand built and assembled in Katowice Poland...

I have the Sad preamp in mine with the Vintage tone control. Can't fault it at all, my M5V really sings and sounds great passive too :)

Exactly my point Sir, Im like the opposite to you, can play my basses various heights without batting an eye lid (within a couple of inches!) but I know some that people that measure out all their straps with a tape measure. just looking for that extra comfort/homey feeling when playing hence...

It does make a little difference, enough for me to tell, not uncomfortably different though. My 6 string Overwater Progress Deluxe is 18mm spacing and my KSD 705 is 19. Use the 6 more for chordal stuff and composition/soloing/jazz/world music etc. Like to keep my 5s: KSD 705 and New Lull...

Yh thats what I thought, would take the outer strings B and G a touch 'closer to the edge' (a bit of risk is always exciting lol) but im not too much of a string bender etc so not too worried about bending off etc.

Bridge/spacing question. So lull 5s come with the hipshot A bridge and 18mm as standard spacing on 5s. Hipshot say their A style allows 1.5mm adjustments to the saddle. I'm used to playing 19mm in my others. Technically i should be able to make my M5v 19mm spaced am I correct? Can anyone see...

oh sweet! yes I shot him an email too, and he sent me onto Pickguardian apparently they do the Lull pickguards. Will have a look and see what I can do to sort some guards sent over to me across the pond in the UK. a Lot of love for Lulls from me over here across the pond
