I'd check for truss rod rattle. It can create a buzzing noise if it is loose in its cavity. Certain frequencies will set it buzzing. Potential issues: Fretwear. High frets. Nut-slot height too low. Slipping tuners. Scratchy pots. Loose input jack. Neck dive.
