Isn't the tone knob, even an active tone knob, redundant with the treble side of the BQC preamp, especially considering you can switch the affected frequencies on the BQC board? My understanding is that a tone knob is just a boost/cut (or only cut) knob for treble frequencies.

I thought a HPF would be more important than a LPF that way I don't waste any power producing sounds people can't hear? I've thought of getting a HPF and setting the cutoff for the low A fundamental: 27.5 Hz
