You might use the Downie app (I use in Safari) to record the YouTube clip to your Mac as a mp3 file.

You don't need AmpliTube or anything else. Use the free GarageBand. You can import your songs from iTunes as a track and play along/record with it. Been doing it for years.

Amazing Slow Downer & Anytune Pro+ should do it for you. I have both on iPhone & iPad, but currently am using Anytune on my Mac most of the time, and loving it.

I was too until I saw I could get it for my iPad, which is what I wanted anyway. I was disappointed when it was first announced and there were no plans for a digital edition. I travel a lot and prefer all my bass materials on the iPad so I can always have it with me.
