    Best sites for buying a bass?

    I'll add to the Thomann love... Excellent store with great service, if you're in europe. It's actually quicker and cheaper for me to order something from them then to buy from any store in my country (Poland)... that says alot about thomann!

    Which Jazz bass?

    Deluxe active would be my choice, I have one and it is fantastic, very versatile with overall great build quality, good stuff. If you need a bass for many styles, it's the one for you. If you're more the "one bass one style" person or a traditional design fanatic, get the highway one.

    My first bass was a Yamaha RBX374... since then I got a deluxe active Jazz Bass. I got the yamaha because it was good quality, I decided to go for a good bass, despite the fact that it was the ugliest thing I've ever seen. At least the color was pretty. I wanted to get a Squier Jazz Bass...
