The ampeg 610 and 810 are pretty much the same price, I never understood that... anyways Neo speakers are great, but I don't know the durability on them. I can tell you that most metal players I know that use picks prefer the ampeg cabs, but most metal players I know that use their fingers...

Either way, the avatar neo cabs are still cheaper than the GK neo cabs which haven't raised in price though.

I think 212's are awesome, they aren't as small as a 210, but they pack more of a punch and are extremely light. I have a neo 212 and it's only like 30-35 pounds. And it dishes out the same as a 410 which can weight up to twice that.

Are you playing mostly on a wood floor? I know when I play on anything that isn't wood, my bass cab doesn't vibrate much, but once I go on wood floor, like certain stages, it'll vibrate, I usually just put down a dry wash cloth on top, it'll suck up the vibrations. As for the movement, idk what...

I'm sure someone mentioned this... I admire Troy Sanders, though he uses a variety of tones, mostly distortion, but he is able to blend so perfectly with the guitars and make everything sound so smooth and creamy.

Should be a middle answer, like a slight distortion/fuzz... I personally like a really slight distortion that makes it sound a bit more darker and dirty for metal.

Tuner-out option is kind of useless if you have a tuner pedal, but I don't see why you don't understand it... Its awesome if you only have a hand tuner, you don't have to unplug your bass to tune during a show lol.
