apparently there was a known issue with the heatsync/ it shutting the amp down prematurely because the faulty circuit was thinking it was overheating. THought this problem was dealt with by now, but i guess not. Fingers crossed my pf500 doesnt suffer the same problematic fate.

Purchased one off Kijiji, in great shape, with Monte Allums mod, and i love it. I was able to dial in some great stuff pretty quickly. Reminds me of this:

I would also mention that the footswitchable overdrive is, well.........meh. If you dont use distortion much, or are not fussy about it, it will do the trick. I ended up getting a Boss Bass Distortion with a Monte Allums mod, and it sounds terrific.

I snagged a Fender Rumble 150 off Kijiji for $80, it is showroom mint. Works great, and sounds just fine going through my Fender 410 Pro slant cab. To be honest, i play this stack so much more than my Ampeg PF500 going through my Peavey Black Widow 15" cab. Call me a noob, but there is...

got the Rumble 150 combo for my living room amp (ampeg portaflex 500 in the jam studio), and i love this thing. if you love the fender tone, then this will make you happy.
