A non-musician once told me at a gig that bass players shouldn't play with a pick. As it happened on our next song, I use a capo so I don't have to constantly reach from F to A on the E string. I didn't have to talk to him the rest of the evening!

I just looked on their website, and the Behringer BB210's I ordered also say that. They didn't charge me anything, however. They weigh about 65 lbs. apiece.
