I played on of them and a svt 3 pro at GC. If I had been buying a new head I would have had to seriously consider the VB2 overthe svt 3. It sounded pretty damn good. But that was through the new peavey cabs 1 4-10 and 1- 15

So I bought this older svt 3 pro head and a 4-10 svt pro cab. This cab is rated at 600 watts. I have a 2-10 cab that I want to use to getto a 4 ohm load. The head has one banana plug and 2 1/4 outs. The cabs both say the inputs are fullrange inputs. A; Question should I use 2...

Did you try just using the other cab with the ampeg cab to drop down to 4 ohms? It makes a big difference in mine
