Have you thought about a Markbass TTE500? I use one with a pair of ML112's and love the sound.

I am not surprised by the good match. I spent a fair bit of time shopping for a new head to match my pair of baer 112's and the TTE500 was my choice to match them best.

I used 2 mikes - an SM57 up near the speaker near the outside of the 12 inch and an AKG 214 back about 3 feet in the room. The final mix is about equal from both mikes. It is pretty close to the sound in the room. For some reason, just the AKG alone sounds thinner than the in room sound...
