Just got this and my immediate impression is that this is a lot of bass for the money. I just had a birthday and added some money to my Wife's gift from my GAS fund thinking it would be a good bass to have for jams and whatever, but to my total surprise these are gig worthy. I got this for $629 delivered on sale and it has a B string every bit as good as a US MM.
Great value and I rate it highly recommended for the price point.

I thought I would throw in a picture of my 2 EBMM babies. The Stingray I have had for a few years and the Big Al is new. I really like the passive sounds on this bass with the advantage of switching in active when needed.

And seeing someone here does not like the blue PG on the Big Al - here it is with a white pearl - I like the blue better though.

Well, I finally got myself an EBMM Sterling yesterday. So far I'm really loving the playability and growl that this bass has. I had an OLP a few years ago that I put a basslines in but as you guys already know, no comparison what-so-ever.

Does anyone know the official name of this pickguard color? Can't seem to find any info online about it. I'm assuming that it's called Gold Ice or something but not sure.

Lowgroover you jerk you stole my Blue Car Crush from Pickguard heaven on Black EBMM! What the deuce!

HEY! Playing my Bongo HHp 5 & my Sterling HH & I'm realizing I don't need another bass, have no desire. Its nice to have a P bass but the Sterling HH & Bongo HH can come sort of close, same with a Jazz when I play with my Eden Navigator settings.

Screw this, I'm going back to playing :bassist:
