Official EBMM club thread! part the 2nd.

It's official...the UPS guy dropped this off for me this afternoon. I am loving it so far!

I just love this companies newer innovations. Recently I have been chasing my tail a bit trying to think of a second bass that would offer a worthwhile alternative to the reflex - and am settling on either a jazz bass or a Big Al sss.

I know which one of those options is more rock and roll. :bassist:

I highly recommend the Big Al 5 SSS, the Passive tones alone
make it worthy. I have one with a Maple neck & board en route now that I'll get Monday.

NICE!
I just bought that color Reflex in a 4 string HSS Version....
I love the white with black trim and the tone options it provides....Great bass!!

Can anyone give me a lowdown on an H or HH versus HS arrangement? Preferably in a Sterling and a Bongo, but a 'Ray would be OK too.

(Researching for my Bongo 6 :D)

Well...Everytime I go to buy a SR5 HH, I end up with an HS.

I love the combination of sounds and love the S by itself.
Closest to a P bass sound out of all the MM combos.

I sure love my SR5 HS basses...so versatile and cover all your Classic sounds.......except a true jazz bass.......imho :hiding:

Hi guys!

I was wondering if any of you Stingray 5HH-owners could help me out a bit by taking a few measures for me? What I want measured is the following:

1: Distance between last fret and top edge of neck-pickup
2: Distance between last fret and top edge of neck pole
3: Distance between last fret and bottom edge of bridge pole

(In mm, please)
