Here's my recently acquired Little Mark II and Standard 104HR. I absolutely love this rig! It has so much more definition than my old Peavey 15" combo, it's sick. I couldn't be happier.

It's a Geddy Lee Jazz. MIJ and from what I can find between 2002 - 2004. I'm assuming it'd be polyurethane. Sounds like I've got a pretty good answer. Thanks for everyone's input!

It's not a huge concern as I don't plan on selling the bass or removing the pickguard entirely but I was just curious to see what might happen.

How do you mean? Put it flipped-over under the pickguard or ontop of it?

Knew someone would ask. It's just a sentimental thing. A close family member passed away and I thought of putting their picture under the pickguard because they were a big inspiration. And, no, it's not a see-through pickguard (but now you've got me thinking).

I have 2: Geddy Lee Signature Peavey Grind 5 BXP I'm still a relatively new player, and that's all I have money for at the moment. If I had my way I'd own a lot more, but there's always time for that I suppose.

After searching around for a while and not finding much, I was hoping you guys could answer a real quick question for me. If was to put a picture or a playing card underneath the pickguard, would it be potentially damaging to the finish if I took off the pickguard again? I vaguely remember...

The best compliment I've gotten was from the guitarist of my current band. We were listening to the playback of a demo we had just recorded and he looks at me and says: "Do you listen to yourself when you play? That was awesome!" Made me feel good that he appreciates the low end.
