Anima's are very nice strings for pizz. You can bow them, but in my opinion they are more pizz strings. If you mostly play with the bow: stick with Evah Weich. Evah's are nice to bow. And if you want to spent money on strings ....... buy a Oliv G and fall in love with it. Works well in...

I had a buzzing problem with my gut D string. I phoned my luthier. He told me maybe there is a problem at the topnut, try to put a little piece of cardboard between the string and the topnut. And yes ...... it worked, no buzzing anymore. So, maybe this might help.

Hi I used to play Animas an like them very well. I never had problems with my set. I played Eudoxa for some months. They are more dark compared to the Animas. Very nice tot bow. An alternative for Animas? I would say Evah Weich. And even better: Evah Weich with Oliv G. I like Evah better...
