I have a Sansamp tubes emulator preamp for my solid state GK, would it do anything it i got a head with a tube pre amp, or even an all tube?

Today i went looking for a new head, and played ampegs, mesas and then came across an orange bass terror, and it was one of the best sounds heads i have heard, and thoughts on it?

I got a 4x10 GK right now, but was thinking about an 8x10, or a mesa 4x10

Yea, i have a GK Backline 600 and love it, but i cant get the low ends i want out of it. I didnt know if the upper lines have move lows, they seem to be more punch then growl
