    Fender Rumble Club

Ahh ok, revisiting my earlier post about the Rumble 800 plus 2x10 cab. Just had chance to give it a run through. So, volume wise. It is capable of going stupidly loud. At normal home volumes, it doesn’t sound any different. The cab and combo side-by-side, neo and ceramic magnet drivers, there’s...

Thank you! I had a Stage 800 once, sold it as my band at the time went IEM. It was a lot of fun. Can imagine that sounds awesome as an 800w 4x10. Funnily enough, I’d thought about shifting this and getting a head and 4x10 cab. But, I’m 6”4 - so actually, having the R800+210 stack will be a...

    Fender Rumble Club

I posted a week or so back about adding a 2x10 to my Rumble 800c. I’d pretty much decided not to until I googled the cab and saw that there were VERY few available. In fact, I believe I may have picked up the last one from a UK retailer, with further stock unavailable for MONTHS. So, I grabbed...

thanks Tim! Very much appreciate the response. I had a reply from Fender UK, who confirmed there’s no plans for a Neo 2x10. They don’t have the driver specs, as expected. I’m gonna grab a 2x10 and crack on with an 800w 4x10 :D

Thanks for the reply! Does anyone know, unlikely given how closely guarded manufacturers keep this info… but does anyone know if the Rumble 10” drivers in the 800c are the same as those in the 500c/S800/210, albeit with a different magnet?! I don’t suppose Fender would share, but it’d make for...

    Fender Rumble Club

Hi all, Does anyone have any experience they could share on mixing the Neo Rumble 800 combo with the ceramic magnet-ed 2x10? Good/bad/the same/different? Other than a few extra KG to carry, how they pairing up? I’ve emailed Fender to ask if a Neo 2x10 is in the pipeline, but no response as yet.

    That’s where I’m at too. I LOVE a 4x10, they’re just fun. A stacked 2 x 2x10 must be awesome?!

    Fender Rumble Club

Just had a first run with the band with my new 800c. Wow, very impressed! My master volume wasn’t even at 10 o’clock and it punched so hard. Such an authoritative tone. Really clear and strong. OD sounded excellent. But the core, clean tone is so good. Not just loud, but wonderful in a band...

    Fender Rumble Club

Just spent a couple of hours with it. Have to say, I absolutely love it so far. The core tone is really solid. I’ll be at a rehearsal Monday, so that’ll be the true test. But, I’ve just spent that time on low power mode and it’s every bit as useable as high. EQ responds well and the drive...

I’ll definitely be using that technique! Hats off to you @Flippy. That will certainly save me some hassle.

Update to the above (R800c)… turned it up to “gig volume”, ie 50% gain and master in full power setting and it’s obnoxiously loud! To be honest, I can’t see myself pushing it that hard at a reasonable sized gig. Still can’t clip the preamp, I maxed everything and still no orange light. My bass...

    Fender Rumble Club

Just received my Rumble 800c. First impressions, it’s unbelievably light! I wasn’t expecting a foot switch, so that’s a bonus. Sound wise, only had a quick 5 mins, so hard to say. But, it sounds loud and clear. I like the presets, would be nice if they had LED indicators like drive to show...

The Official Fender Precision Bass Club (Part 8)

I’m home again with a Fender P. I’ve had it a few months now and have had chance to give it a few gigs. The B string… oh yeah! I thought basses needed a bridge pickup to get a good sound B?! This has one of the most uniform B strings on a bass I’ve played. Plus the action is 1.5mm, it plays...

    The Combo Club

Can anyone give me a recommendation on a combo with a good XLR out, that is not affected my the master volume? At the moment I’m looking at the Markbass CMD121h, which I know has a separate pot for DI level. I’m curious about the Fender Stage 800, as I know the Rumble 500 XLR is post everything...
