Awesome, thanks man :D sounds like this is definatly going to be my first bass. Now to pick a small practise amp to go with it..

Not to highjack your thread here, but I've been contemplating getting this as my first bass. Can you tell me a bit about how it plays/sounds and if it is a good choice as first bass?

Wow.. I just read through the whole thread at once, couldn't stop reading :o Just gotta say I admire your patience on this, it's turning out great! The attention to details is quite 'insane', like drill holes and relicing of screws etc. Overall very nice work and an amazing bass to boot :D...

I'm laughing at all the people that want to break up because of a difference in musical taste. No offense but breaking up because of musical taste is like not buying a certain car because you don't like the floormats. :p I honestly don't give a damn... if we have a boatload in common, what...

Better be carefull, lol :P I've done some woodwork barefoot and I regretted it SO MUCH :eek: Awesome bass though, the headstock is truely unique to me, I love it :D

I haven't bought a bass yet, but I'll buy on feel, definatly.. Sound can be fiddled with trough changing strings, pups, amps etc.. Looks don't matter, they're in no way an indication of how an instrument sounds. [exept for maybe bolt on/neck trough and the types of wood that have been used...
