I have one of these with a Hipshot and other One with a babicz bridge. Also Wilkinson black tuners are drop in. Cheap tunners and very nice ones. But not better than stock maybe only a little bit but nothing substancial!

Its a beautiful bass! If it feels good and sounds good thats a wonderful bass to start with! I've purchased the p bass standard special from 2000 and it's an wonderful bass, very light and the p pickup sounds amazing!!

So do you still have the bass? The VM Its a very nice bass by its own but like me maybe you like to upgrade things ;p I am currently modifying mine, to finish the job I am going to put an audere preamp, I think I am not gonna upgrade the pickups let's hear after...

I use one but I dial the bass in mic input and use an equaliser pedal, till now no problems with it. I play indoor not outdoor so don't know if it is a good ideia.
