The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Been doing a lot of flipping lately. Here's the latest acquisition; a Lakland Skyline 55-60 JO in translucent white with a custom wound neck pickup. I threw a set of flats on it (GHS Precision Flats 45-126) and am loving the grit and growl I'm getting out of it. I've taken to the white/tort/rosewood look as well. There's just something about it that is drawing me in right now.

Here's the white trio.

Both of my basses that I currently own. Top is a Dean, unknown what model it is exactly as of yet. Sounds awesome, plays awesome. Currently has DR Black Beauties.

Bottom is a Squier VM Jazz. Modified with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders and a new tone pot. Also threw on Fender Knobs (currently being held on by cardboard shims). Currently has DR Hi-Beams.

Like that body color...almost like one of those roasted Ash versions...or is it one of those versions?
I don't know. It had some history before I bought it in the late 1980s. I think it was originally red. But someone also painted it gray before stripping it down. I think it's ash. The neck is maple, though.
Is that a MIM version of a Deluxe since it is a PJ that is active and passive?
Yes! Gotta have the bridge pickup!

A few more... A cheap Chinese upright, Danelectro semi-hollow with flatwounds and strung to a low D, a Warwick thumb 5-er and a cheap but super playable and good sounding Cort fretless. With the others already posted, I think that's all of them. Except a Dean 8-string and a SUB MM copy that are both kinda not playable right now...

Is that a cheap Chinese (as in no good) upright or an inexpensive Chinese (as in great value sounds great) upright?
