Yeah, there's actually hundreds of short scale pianos, and they are arguably more popular than normal pianos

This man is correct. OP, I have a GT-1, and a bass rig. Some effects work better than others. The trick is moderation.

I appreciate all the input. As mentioned by someone earlier, one of the reasons I'm hesitant to use a short-scale (or Fender VI) is because I don't want to be stuck thinking like a guitarist. Perhaps this is why I could use more than one bass.

Thanks for all the input. For what it's worth, I'm definitely quickly getting used to the 34" scale. Considering a Squier VM Jaguar SS anyways. I want all of the basses :rolleyes:

Yo. I'm a guitarist (10+ yrs) trying to get the hang of bass. I also happen to be a pretty small dude. I want to play bass, and have found short-scales (Ibanez Mikro) super easy to play, even compared to really nice 34" basses. If I had to do a last minute gig, I'd definitely feel MUCH more...

I bet you no one on TB has a newer Rumble than I do. Can I join?
