I think it will, but that's just me. Whether the 100 is gig worthy depends on several things, How loud the band plays, how many members in the band, how large is the venue, does the venue have FOH support. That’s actually the type of answer I was looking for. I picked up my Rumble 150 in a trade while out on the road. They wanted 150 bucks for it, and they also had a new rumble 100 for 300 bucks. I could have sworn that the rumble 100 sounded better, and it was definitely lighter and prettier… But the guitar center I was in was packed with loud guitarists and I decided to go with the 150 because it would probably be more gig worthy, and I liked saving $150. Now I find the tone a little bland and wish I had gone with something different. Since I’ve vaguely remember the v3 sounding better, and also because I can’t try anything out before I buy it, I’m basically asking if ordering a v3 rumble will be more of the same or a definite improvement.?.?. Only time will tell!
Welcome Rumbler #972! That is one great little amp. Rumble on!Score! New Studio 40 is on its way. New from Musician's Friend, less expensive then a used one at GC! (MF honored the GC 20% off, plus no tax and free shipping! Now to wait for UPS ground...any input on the MGT-4 pedal for this?

Clever folks over there in Norway!Something just struck me. The Stage 800 has arrived on these shores, but the matching 210 cab has not. It may or may not be difficult to find one in the future - time will tell.
A lot of us own the 500c and matching 210 cab. And one easy way you could match up a Stage 800 and an old-style 210 if you already own a Rumble 500c would be to simply swap the grille, corner protectors and handle with those of the Stage 800!
This would leave you with a badass-looking 500c, and a classic-looking Stage 800 with a matching 210, without having to get a second cab.
At the risk of repeating myself-or being redundant-"Clever folks over there in Norway!"We’re having an acoustic practice session at our drummer’s house tonight, and I thought I’d bring my Rumble 15.
Unfortunately, it’s raining cats and dogs today, and while I’ve ordered a cover for my 15, it unfortunately hasn’t arrived yet. Necessity being the mother of invention, I improvised a temporary cover with a bit of tarpaulin and some clear packing tape.
It’s not perfect, but it’ll be enough to tide me over until the real article arrives. It was surprisingly easy to do.

Very shrewd, my fine sir. Now that's someone who wants to play! We’re having an acoustic practice session at our drummer’s house tonight, and I thought I’d bring my Rumble 15.

What brand/model of pickup?I got new pickups, so I was really experimenting with the settings on my v3 100c. I found i only like the amp now with the vintage button on. Am i the only one?

Wilkinson, J style peavey bass. I used pretty much flat EQ and vintage button before the swap. Then when i swapped, i wired them in series. First gig out I overcompensated for the series: bright button, cut bass, but i didnt like it. So second gig i went back to my usual settings. And it killed! So Fat!What brand/model of pickup?
Cool. "Tweaking" (and having the patience for it) can sometimes really pay off! Good to hear.Wilkinson, J style peavey bass. I used pretty much flat EQ and vintage button before the swap.
