I've never tried a SC6 so I'm not sure how it compares to mine, but I do like the double cutaway for the access to the upper part of the neck. Especially playing chords. Yep, the OBP-3...Best electronics in any of the basses I own...It seems like a lot of folks on here prefer Nords and Aeros, but the Barts w/ the OBP3 sound incredible...M6S
