Chicks at shows. Lets see them.

Um....Not so much my friend. ...Well, I'm not. I'm in a retro outfit.:D I'm at work now and this is the only pic I have on this computer of my band. It's not the besrt quality, but you can still see it. I'm on the far right with the mohawk (that you may not be able 2 see.) And..yes...

Chicks at shows. Lets see them.

I totally agree with you. Even though there are some Maids of Metal, it seems that the majority of woman (at least in my city) love alternative/pop rock. I had a band (Beyond Reason) for the past 5 years. We wern't metal, but we was riding that fine line between hard rock and metal. Yea...chicks...

Me + Bass Wah Pedal = Confused Mole

OK. I played it last night. It's pretty neat. I think I will like it more as I lean how to use it. 1 thing I found that I don't really like, (MysticBoo mentioned this too)is that when you want to keep the same level of effect for more than a few seconds or however long you want to, you have to...

I will be getting Peavey T40 soon

The good ole T40. What a beast. That was the first bass I ever owned. It's a Peavey staple in my opinion. I know many people that have owned one or played one before. It wieghs a ton that was about my only dislike.

    Bass Solos

Joel.....I totally agree with what you said. Of course minus the parts about your opinion of stanley c's music. I didn't listen to it. I was just scanning this thread and reading a few posts. I read yours...and believe you are correct on soloing. LOL! I was told by a guitar player buddy of...

Me + Bass Wah Pedal = Confused Mole

Link Removed Ok... I'm relativley new here, so I don't know if this is going to work (trying to post a picture on here), but here is an example of what my pedal looks like, except mine is blue. If I run through the pedal and keep it all the way up, will it change the sound, or do you have to...

Me + Bass Wah Pedal = Confused Mole

I recently bought a new (to me) amp. The guy gave me a Whorley Bass Wah pedal. As far as effects go, I have never used anything but a Boss overdrive pedal and a Sansamp before. And I've never used a wah pedal playing guitar either. I'm having trouble knowing when to use it and how far to push...

    Yorkville XS400 settings?

www.traynoramps.com Check the website out bro. I printed the whole owners/users manual out and put it in a binder. In the back of the manual there are about 6 or 7 different examples of ways to eq the amp to get certain desired sounds and tones. I like a few of them. Hope it helps! Good stuff...

    Yorkville XS400 settings?

WOW! Last Saturday (Oct 4) I used the XS400 I was thinking about buying from my friend. It changed my "thinking about buying" to bought it! I loved everything about it. I was really impressed. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, "I had a really nice Ampeg rig", but all of the varieties of sound...

    Yorkville XS400 settings?

I want a Jazz Bass to sound like a Music Man

    * I agree. I own a MM SR too. I love everything about it. I don't have any complaints at all. I don't have a jazz bass. But if I did, I would enjoy the best of both worlds. 1 of each is a great way to be deversified in my opinion. We all do things that other people think are crazy and sensless...

    Yorkville XS400 settings?

    * Loend - Thanks for the info and advice! Talk Bass is a really good forum. You mentioned the footswitchable tube drive. When you buy a new XS400, does it originally come with a foot switch or just a place to plug in a foot switch if you have one? I haven't had a chance to go play this new...

    Yorkville XS400 settings?

*dvh* Thanks for the info! I'm getting pretty stoked about trying it out. I should be able to do that this week end. *All* I play a EB MusicMan Sting Ray, 4 string - active. What do you think the positives and (possible) negatives are on playing an active bass through the XS400?
