I don‘t have sound clips but I would recommend to replace the existing Double Pole ON-ON switch with a ON-ON-ON switch. With a smart wiring you would have Parallel/Single/Series coil settings. No need to add a switch. And easy to recover if it is not to your liking.

I still prefer the older bodies. Not because of the size but more because the newer ones usually have that shifted body shaping on the back which is not comfortable to me (and looks worse to my eyes).
