If weight is more of an issue than scale, I'd point out the Cort Action - it's long scale PJ setup with jazz-style neck that weights a hair over 6 pounds.

Thanks. Since Cleartone seem to have a limited offer of bass strings, and knowing it's a medium set (45-105), I will assume it's their standard line (not heavy bass) that cost $37 per set. Hope they last as long as they claim :D
