I was wondering if anyone on here has any idea about how Edgar Meyer practices? I know he is a strong advocate of very slow practicing, but does anyone know what kind of books he uses, or exercises he practices or encourages his students to do?

I recently got Hal Robinson's scale book Boardwalkin' and I was wondering how to approach the scales. Do I just play the notes on the page and move on to the next key or is there a better way to approach the book?
